Connecting MIST browser using geth

After starting geth using chaindata directory, if we open the MIST browser, it connects to PRIVATE-NET, depicted in Figure 3.33, rather than the public blockchain RINKEBY (refer to Figure 3.22):

Now, we create a new wallet account in MIST on top of our private blockchain, as shown in Figure 3.34 and Figure 3.35. In Figure 3.36, we assign this new account as our main etherbase account:
