Never forget that because of the nature of the Internet and computer crime, it is entirely possible for any given crime to stretch over multiple local and international jurisdictions, potentially frustrating any attempts to prosecute it. Additionally, prosecution can be stymied by the legal systems of different countries in which a mix of religious, military, criminal, and civil laws exist.
