Chapter 11. The Grid
The Exercises in this chapter will provide technical lessons and aesthetic exercises in using a grid to align a typographic layout. Following the Swiss International Style of typographic composition, the final layout includes hierarchies of type that readers can consume with an economy of eye movements. You’ll continue to use tools learned throughout chapters in this section, with an emphasis on Adobe Illustrator’s type tools.
