11.11 Accessibility

From the user's point of view, information on accessibility can be just as important as the data overview elements and other quality parameters. Accessibility describes where data for a particular area can be found, who has the original rights, and what other conditions and limitations (price, form of delivery, format, etc.) apply to the acquisition and use of the data. These factors are closely linked to standard formats, meta-databases, and use of the Internet. We should also reemphasize how important the quality marking of data is, with respect to positional accuracy, attribute accuracy, temporal accuracy, logical consistency, completeness, and accessibility.
