Getting started

This chapter will introduce you to the proper project workflow and the basic toolset you will use throughout the book. First, make sure that you have gone through ZBrush and familiarized yourself with the program’s interface. Then, if you still need to do so, read the preceding chapters before starting the project contained herein. Now that has been sorted, let’s dive into ZBrush and start!

The first thing you must do is close the browser pop-up that appears when you first launch ZBrush. Simply clicking on the close button, i.e., the [X] in the upper right-hand corner of the pop-up window, will accomplish this.
