So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Knowledge-oriented activities are performed in a variety of environments:
schools, high-schools, universities, research institutes, large corporations, etc.
On the other hand, grid implementations only make sense in environments
where a meaningful number of computing resources can be integrated to form a
higher-performance system, which tends to be rather restrictive. In this book, we
consider the implementation of grid systems in environments “gifted” with a
rather large number of computing resources, and that can be greatly benefitted
by grid technologies.
