It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Distributed File System (DFS™): Every workstation in each site mounts a
directory tree over a DFS. Through the mounted tree, the nodes access the
design model to perform the simulation. The DFS has an important role in the
architecture, as the authentication and remote access is performed over it.
