It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this example we present a grid implementation to support the field of
advanced scientific visualization. The area of visualization is evolving as it
addresses emerging and continuing issues, from interactive and batch rendering
of terascale data sets, through remote visualization. At the same time,
