So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Zusammenarbeit
Als Engineer auf Staff+-Ebene besteht ein Großteil Ihrer Aufgaben darin, mit Engineer-Kolleginnen und -Kollegen, Managern, Produktverantwortlichen, geschäftlichen Entscheidungsträgern und anderen zusammenzuarbeiten. Oft wird die Zusammenarbeit dabei nicht durch Sie initiiert, die Leute kommen auf Sie zu.
Die Projekte mit den größten Herausforderungen sind nur selten wegen des zu schreibenden Codes so schwierig. Häufig liegen die Probleme in der Zusammenarbeit mit anderen und dem Gefühl, den sprichwörtlichen »Sack voller Flöhe« hüten zu müssen, also einer Aufgabe, die schwierig oder gar unmöglich zu organisieren ist.
