The actor–critic network 

 DDPG models rely on actor-critic frameworks, which are used to learn policies without having to calculate the value function again and again. 

Actor-critic models are essential frameworks in reinforcement learning. They are the basis and inspiration for Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), which we learned about in Chapter 7, Generative Models.

As you may have guessed,these actor-critic models consist of two parts: 

• The actor: Estimates the policy function
• The critic: Estimates the value function
