I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a project
Now we have connected agents and can create a project that will build our microservice. Click the Create Project button on the Projects page and fill in the form with the parameters of the repository that we want to build:
We set the repository URL to http://git-server:3000/developer/microservice.git, because the CI server instance works inside a virtual network and can connect to other services by the names and original ports exposed by Docker images.
When you click the Proceed button, you can specify the name of the project:
Click Proceed again, and you have an empty project that we can configure with steps.
