It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Integration testing
Unit testing can't guarantee that the whole application works, because it tests only a small piece of implementation. By contrast, integration tests are more complex and they help to ensure your whole application works properly. We combined some microservices that we created for this book into one application. Let's create integration tests to check the application.
