It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Schemas
It is easier to solve most problems when you are organized and have a well-designed plan to achieve your goal. If you are unorganized, you will most certainly realize your goals less efficiently, if at all. Designing an information management system that uses Oracle XE is certainly no different.
Databases organize related objects within a database schema. For example, it's typical to organize within a single database schema all of the tables and other database objects necessary to support an application. This way, it's clear that the purpose of a certain table or other database object is to support the corresponding application system. Figure 5-1 illustrates the idea of an application schema.
