‘Top of day’ camera assistant checks
It is wise to carry out a ‘top of day’ check every shooting day. This is not only the professional approach, but will contribute to your peace of mind. Experience has shown that while these cameras are unfamiliar to many on the unit, a certain amount of prodding and poking may happen behind your back. This must be discouraged, but a wise precaution is to guarantee the camera is perfect at the beginning of each day.
1 Put all spare batteries on charge if they have not been on charge overnight.
2 Build camera as you expect to need it for the first shot of the day.
3 Put a fully charged, or the battery holding the best charge, on the camera.
4 Switch the camera on.
