Monitors
If, like me, you choose to light to your monitor then this chapter might just be one of the most important you ever read. Setting up monitors is not difficult or particularly time consuming, but for someone from a film background it can, at first, be a little daunting.
15.1 What kind of monitors are available?
15.1.1 Cathode ray tube monitors
There are three monitors using CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) technology most commonly offered by a supplier. They all come with a 16 × 9 screen, for which the dimension of the diagonal of the picture will be 9 inches, 14 inches or 24 inches.
