We have already touched on some basic points about the best way to present your CV – we’ve seen that recruiters prefer simple typefaces and plain white paper. In this chapter, we look at successful presentation in more detail.
The first thing to say about the layout of your CV is do not put the words ‘Résumé’ or ‘Curriculum Vitae’ on the top of your CV. Quite apart from insulting the reader – what else could the document be? – it is a waste of valuable space.
