10.3. Summary

This chapter explored the relatively sparse ways CSS and graphical content interact.

As you saw, CSS has little to offer in terms of graphical layout and design. However, CSS properties allow you to achieve more flexible and pleasing alignment of text with graphics, and reuse subsets of larger images, without having to recreate the content.

Chapter 11, begins the fourth and final part of this book, where we'll focus on the non-obvious uses of CSS. Specifically, Chapter 11, explains how to use CSS to create interesting, attractive and interactive menu designs.
