5.2 Implementation
The timeout parameter can be set on the SMIT menu or with the snaadmin
command or in xsnaadmin by selecting Services -> 3270 -> New 3270
display LU -> Advanced -> Set inactivity timeout.

Different timeout values can be used for different LUs, even on the same link.
For example, you may want to define LUs used by managers with a timeout
value of zero (no timeout), while the LUs used by developers have a large
timeout, and the LUs used by casual users have a small timeout.
