Chapter 6. Enterprise Extender
This chapter describes the functionality of Enterprise Extender (EE), gives an
overview of High-Performance Routing (HPR), and discusses the
implementation of Enterprise Extender in CS/AIX. An example scenario
illustrates the use of HPR over IP to support SNA applications.
Enterprise Extender is also referred to as High Performance Routing over IP
(HPR/IP). Throughout this chapter, Enterprise Extender will be referred to as
EE and HPR/IP.
