Storage account encryption

In order to protect and safeguard your data to meet organizational security and compliance commitments, Azure Storage Service Encryption (SSE) is used. Prior to persisting to storage and retrieval, Azure Storage encrypts and respectively decrypts your data. Currently SSE only takes care of blobs and files (Preview) that are stored on an Storage account.

Currently there is a preview feature called SSE for Azure File Storage. This feature uses the same techniques as SSE for blobs to protect the Azure storage file service.
