Cisco Collaboration network leverages Internetwork Operating System (IOS) voice gateways to (inter)connect different networks (e.g. PSTN to IP and vice versa) and different protocols (e.g. SIP to H.323). A Cisco IOS voice gateway is the fundamental block of Cisco Collaboration network and offers various functions; from most trivial to more complex.
