The Intersection of Business Development and Innovation
There are many definitions for innovation, following many books and articles that have been written on this subject, devoted to defining it and promoting its adoption.
If we want to explain what innovation is all about, I believe that the most simplistic way to describe it would be the transformation of ideas into new or improved products.
This is of course a rather wide definition that leaves much room for interpretation, but in my view, real innovation in the business world goes hand in hand with business development.
