So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Setting Up Windows 2000 Clients for Remote VPN Access
Setting up a VPN connection on a Windows 2000 workstation to a Windows 2000 or other PPTP-based VPN server involves setting up a network connection as follows:

In the Start menu, under Settings, Network and Dial-Up Connections, select Make New Connection. Click Next at the intro screen.

Select Connect to a Private Network through the Internet and click Next.

3. | At the Public Network screen, you can specify a particular Dial-Up Networking connection that needs to be run first to connect you to the Internet, before the PPTP tunnel is established across the Internet connection.
