Chapter 21. Performance Tuning and Resource Management
The last thing an administrator wants to hear after a deployment of Terminal Server is that it's too slow. Many things can be done to improve the performance of a Terminal Server system. Trying to improve the performance after the system is already deployed, however, is not the best time to do it. The first and most important thing you can do is proper performance testing of the system before deployment occurs.
This chapter covers how to tune your server to get the best performance possible, how to set up good performance tests, and how to use tools, such as Performance Monitor, to measure current server performance and prevent future performance problems from occurring.
