The management of stakeholders for a project is very crucial to the success of the project. The only focus of this chapter is the process of Developing the Project Stakeholder Management Plan. This is the plan that will guide the project manager in his or her engagements with various shades of stakeholders for a project. This chapter highlights the most important factors to consider when developing the Stakeholders Management Plan, examines some models for stakeholder analysis, and proffers ways of planning appropriate engagement strategies from the results of the analysis.
