Review of Signal Processing Basics
Abstract
In this chapter, the basics of signal processing and analysis are covered. The important tools offered such as transfer functions in the Laplace domain, the concept of poles and zeros, first- and second-order systems, and their step and impulse responses are reviewed, as these concepts are needed by the reader in later chapters.
