CHAPTER 10: EXCHANGES OF INFORMATION

Control A.5.14 exists to prevent loss, modification, or misuse of information exchanged either within or between organizations. Such exchanges of information should also comply with any relevant legislation.

Information transfer policies and procedures

Control 5.14 of ISO 27002 says the organization should establish information transfer procedures, in line with its classification system, that will protect its information from unauthorized disclosure or misuse. These procedures should apply to all information assets, documents, computing equipment, network equipment, mobile devices, removable media, etc.
