This class is an extended version of java.applet. Applet that adds support for the JFC/Swing component
architecture. The Applet class is the super class of JApplet class. For adding components to the
JApplet window, add method cannot be made use of directly. The getContentPane method defi ned
by JApplet class has to be made use of. Its signature is shown here:
