Creating Droplets

Droplets are DigitalOcean's term for its compute resource. For our Kubernetes, we are going to be launching three Ubuntu 17.04 Droplets, each with 1 GB of RAM, 1 CPU, and 30 GB of SSD storage.

This three Droplet cluster, at the time of writing, will cost approximately $30 per month to keep online. If you are planning on keeping it online while you need it then it will cost $0.045 per hour for the three Droplets.

Before you can create any Droplets you will need an account; you can sign up for DigitalOcean at https://cloud.digitalocean.com/registrations/new.
