Tag für Tag entstehen an unzähligen Schreibtischen Millionen von Dokumenten. Bei genauerer Betrachtung lassen sich die allermeisten Schriftstücke einigen wenigen Dokumentarten zuordnen: Briefe, Artikel, Berichte und Bücher. Solche Dokumente sind dafür gedacht, ausgedruckt zu werden - auch wenn manche tatsächlich per E-Mail verschickt und dann am Bildschirm gelesen werden. Das spielt für die Dokumenterstellung mit LaTeX jedoch keine Rolle. LaTeX erzeugt druckfertige Ergebnisse - egal ob sie ausgedruckt oder nur am Bildschirm betrachtet werden. In diesem Kapitel zeigen wir Ihnen, wie Sie mit LaTeX solche Standarddokumente erstellen können.
