How Can We Be Fully Human at Work?

This question was posed by one of eight participants in a teaching/research project exactly half way through at the time of writing. The purpose of the project is for two facilitators and eight participants from business and education to work together over a three-month period to better understand, experience and promote resilience. One of the challenges of ethical leadership is to resist riding roughshod over individual integrity. Employees frequently arrive at training courses wondering whether they really want to be there. If the training course is of a kind that asks deep and personal questions, there is a risk that employees will feel affronted.
