I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As you know by now, the first half of my career was as a performing artist. During this time I had the extraordinary honor to have been photographed by one of Boston’s most renowned photographers, Al Fisher. All of the photographs presented in the following pages are gifts of Linda Fisher in memory of her husband, Al Fisher (1933–2009).
“In Al’s beautiful black-and-white studies of Boston street performers,” wrote photographer Elin Spring of the exhibit on display at the deCordova Museum, “he ‘strove to go beyond the mask to reveal the person at the core underneath,’ and in the process captured a delicate balance of both persona and person.”1
