Polygonize converts a raster into a polygon layer. Depending on the size and complexity of the raster, the conversion may take some time. Let's convert the reclassified landcover raster to polygons. From the Raster menu, select Conversion | Polygonize (Raster to Vector). The resulting vector polygon layer contains multiple polygonal features with a single attribute. We have named this lc, based on the original raster value. Polygonize's output format is the GeoPackage format (the default in QGIS 3).
