So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The perfect black-and-white print
Black-and-white photography can have such a beautiful, classic look to it. To begin with, you may tend to use just the Desaturate or the Black and White effect in the Color Adjustments effect panel; however, there are other ways that can give you more control to create the perfect black-and-white print.
Let's walk through creating a black-and-white image. Start with the image you would like to convert to black and white, and add a new layer. Fill this layer with black and change the Blending option of this layer to Color. Then select the main layer and choose the Curves effect.
