PERSPECTIVE BASICS
For a drawing to be considered realistic, it needs to give the impression that it inhabits a three-dimensional space with depth and distance. To do this, employ the rules of perspective in your drawings. The first (and most important) rule of perspective is that objects that are closest to the viewer are larger than objects that are farther away.
