To IPL the target system in an LPAR or native on a S/390 or zSeries, use the
same procedure used to IPL the bootstrap system—except this time from DASD,
instead of from tape.
Following the current example, from the HMC select the processor and then
select an image which represents the LPAR to be used for Linux. Drag the icon
onto the Load icon in the right-hand column. This will display the load dialog box.
Select the clear button and enter 0201 as the address of the load device, then
press OK.
You can begin customizing the target system once the Linux target system has
completed IPL. This is described in Chapter 9, “Customizing and using
Turbolinux” on page 141.
