n the last two chapters, we’ve been able to hear our creations only by
connecting gator clips to a cable attached to a bulky, premanufactured
amplifier. If you instead try to connect the gator clips from your breadboard to
the tabs on the back of your speaker, however, you’ll find you don’t hear much of
anything at all. What gives?
