I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Enter the Neon Mushroom Garden—a small
series of dioramas I made featuring the 4093
oscillator I learned about in Dogbotic’s DIY
synthesizer workshop. I decided to use all
four oscillators so that I could make a nice
twinkle effect with a little bit of variation. In
the black-and-white diorama, I also included
LEDs inside the sculpted mushroom stems!
In this way, it operates a bit like a night-light,
where one switch turns the mushrooms on
and another switch ...
