WHEN TO MOVE ON

From time to time, headhunters may call you, promising greener pastures elsewhere. Gently remind them that it is greenest where it rains the most. Other firms look better from the outside, but will suffer the same challenges your firm faces.

There are several bad reasons for moving:

• You do not like your boss. Most people do not leave their firm; they leave their boss. This is a mistake.
