Accreditation A badge held by a lanyard, demonstrating that the individual has been cleared by security to enter the event venue (usually for back-of-house access), and typically provides the venue(s) and area(s) or zone(s) to which the individual has been granted access.

Ambush marketing A purposefully planned action (effort, campaign, etc.) by an organization to indirectly associate itself to an event for some benefit (e.g. commercial gain or name recognition) but that has not paid for the right to be an official sponsor of the event.
