Summary
This chapter started with the introduction of development tools for Ethereum such as Remix IDE. Then we discussed some frameworks such as Truffle along with local blockchain solutions for development and testing such as Ganache, EthereumJS and TestRPC. Other tools such as MetaMask were also explored. Installation of Node was also introduced, as most of the tools are JavaScript and Node based.
In the next chapter we will explore the topic of Web3, a JavaScript API which is used to communicate with Ethereum blockchain using JavaScript.
