I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Hardware configuration
Hardware setup is the first step in the Hadoop installation. The performance is always dependent on the hardware configuration that's used for the application. The system with higher processing power will always give better performance than the system with lower processing power. The system with more memory will always give higher performance than the system with less memory. In Hadoop, the network bandwidth also plays a critical role as MapReduce jobs may require shuffling of data from one machine to another. Thus, we will need more network bandwidth to finish the process as fast as possible.
