Flume interceptor
Flume interceptors are intermediate components between Flume source and channel. The events that are produced by Flume can be modified or filtered by the interceptor. The number of events as output will always be equal or less than the number of events consumed by the interceptor. You can have a chain of interceptors to modify or filter out original events before each reaches to the target channel. You can also use interceptor to select channels for events coming from the same source based on certain conditions. Apache Flume already has a few common interceptors built in.
