I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 3. Creating and Managing Virtual Machines
A wide variety of options are available for managing a Hyper-V virtual environment. Microsoft provides in-box tools for basic management tasks and additional tools for purchase. But, as with any Microsoft product, Hyper-V comes with a full application programming interface (API) to allow partners to complement the product. Thus, besides the Microsoft tools, you will be able to find a variety of other tools, either free downloads or tools for a fee, and more tools are constantly being offered by third parties.
