So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 4. Storage and Networking for Hyper-V
Storage and networking are the two components in a virtualized environment that require more planning and ongoing management than almost any other component. Part of the reason for this is that there are so many different ways to set up storage and networking. Because Hyper-V can use any of the devices that are supported by Windows Server 2008, that translates into all the planning and configurations of the physical world being moved into the virtual world. However, because you now have multiple virtual machines on a single host, the stress put on the storage and networking is multiplied.
