vSAN is tightly integrated into VMware vSphere; thus, enabling vSAN is easy compared to other SDS solutions. All you need to do is to enable the vSAN service on the cluster:
Please note that you need to have the VMkernel adapter configured with the vSAN service first. Also, HA cannot be enabled on the cluster level when vSAN cluster is being configured.
