Chapter 7Windows Server Containers
Containers are a new form of virtualization introduced in Windows Server 2016. They are not a replacement for virtual machines and Hyper-V, but they can be a complement. The key to using containers is to understand the proper use cases so you use them only when appropriate. For server-side applications, containers can provide greater flexibility than virtual machines.
