4.1 Introduction
In this era of technology, every sector is affected directly or indirectly by the new advancement in technology. Machine learning (ML) is a subset of artificial intelligence that is implemented on various provided datasets which are further used for the prediction of output that can be more exact after various steps of regressions. We can make use of ML to solve real-life problems or prediction of new output data that can be used to solve further problem or make process efficient.
Due to modernization, the mode of education has evolved over time chalkboards have been updated to whiteboards and smart boards. Notebooks and textbooks have been replaced with laptops and iPad. As mode of education is not confined to the traditional classroom, where teacher can effectively watch how much a student has assimilated from his/her session. Therefore, to cross hurdles of modern way of education, we need ML to predict student’s performance, test students, virtual help to students, effective grading of students, and analysis of content delivered.
To track the use of ML in education, we must classify it on the basis of:
- categorization of research papers in the implementation of ML in educational domain
- how the trends in ML in educational domain are changing day by day. ...
