16.1.1 Wireless Sensor
To obtain sensory data and identify changes in local settings, you need a wireless sensor. Most wireless sensors are small, battery-operated devices that may be placed in a variety of locations and are programmed to take readings of a variety of environmental characteristics and send those readings as electrical impulses.
