Project Things Metrics
The quantitative facets of projects, also referred to as project “things,” are the visible, tangible signs of the implementation—and eventual success—of the project. Until the 1990s, most project management metrics systems focused primarily on the “things” attributes of projects, particularly aspects involving schedule, cost, and resource utilization. This outlook still predominates in organizations that have not advanced beyond the first two levels of a staged maturity scale.
